ATTENTION CROPPER STREET RESIDENTS & VISITORS!

The Town of Chincoteague is conducting replacement of: watermain, drainage, sidewalk, and road surface on CROPPER STREET beginning Thursday, February 16th, 2023, until completed.  The work will require water to be temporarily shut off affecting water customers on Cropper Street.

There will be a water outage for all of Cropper Street on Thursday, February 16th, 2023.  There will be intermittent water outages for all of or parts of Cropper Street until the work is completed.

THERE IS NO ON-STREET PARKING FOR CROPPER STREET BEGINNING THURSDAY, FEBRUARY 16TH UNTIL COMPLETION.

The office of the Commissioner of the Revenue sent forms for the Relief of the Elderly and Disabled at the end of December, 2022.

 It is February 1, 2023 and we do not want you to forget to send your forms and documents you need to qualify for the tax relief.  This must be your permanent residence.

 The deadline is March 1, 2023.

If you have not received your form, contact the Accomack County Commissioner of Revenue for further assistance.
